Application Process

Children Starting School

Each September an application pack is sent to parents by South Gloucestershire Council for children who will be starting Reception in the following school year. Applications can then be made online, or by post by the deadline in mid-January.

Offers of places are made in the spring term.

During the summer term, prior to children starting school, parents are invited into school, to have a look around and meet the adults who will be involved with their children during that first, very important year.  Children who go to the local Crossbow Nursery, and other local preschools will visit us with their current settings for several morning sessions.  Parents whose children don’t go to preschool are also welcome to attend these mornings.
