Becoming the best we can

Wellbeing

At Frampton Cotterell, we aim to support the wellbeing of our children, parents and staff in a range of ways:

ELSA

We offer ELSA support to individuals who we feel could benefit from these sessions. An ELSA is an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant. A specialist teaching assistant with a wealth of experience of working with children.  ELSAs are trained and regularly supervised by the Educational Psychologists in the local Education Authority.

Please see our ELSA tab for more information on this.

Church Mentoring

We are fortunate to be able to offer this mentoring scheme which is funded by the church. Children who are eligible will have 30 minute weekly sessions with a mentor. Sessions provide children with a safe space to talk with a trusted adult.
