Becoming the best we can

Christian Ethos

Our school vision is rooted in James Martin’s (SJ) theology that life is about becoming our best selves, through an ongoing process of transformation.

As a community we strive to love, learn and grow together, through our school values of thankfulness, hope, honesty, forgiveness, service and justice. We endeavour to ‘think about each other and help each other to show love and do good deeds.’ (Hebrews 10:24)

The school holds a daily act of Collective Worship. Some of these are delivered to the whole school and some are delivered in Key Stages. We have a weekly act of worship led by members of the Church.

Church Links

We are proud of our strong relationship with St. Peter’s Church in Frampton Cotterell. Father Malcolm and Father Ben regularly visit our school to lead worship sessions, bringing our community together in shared values and reflection.

Throughout the year, our students have the opportunity to visit St. Peter’s Church for special services, which include our Harvest Service each Autumn, a Key Stage 2 Carol Service at Christmas and an Easter Service in the Spring term. These events are a meaningful part of our school year, enriching our students’ understanding of tradition, community, and spirituality.
