• See that my child goes to school regularly, on time, appropriately dressed and equipped for work
• Make the school aware of any concerns or problems that might affect my child’s work or behaviour
• Support and model the school’s policies and guidelines for behaviour
• Keep informed about my child’s life at the school
• Support my child in home learning
• Encourage my child’s participation in extra-curricular activities
• Attend parents’ evenings, information evenings and discussions about my child’s progress
• Encourage my child to participate in the various activities of the school
• Encourage my child to show respect and courtesy to everyone, being polite and helpful to others
• Encourage my child to show respect for the books, buildings, equipment, furniture, grounds and environment of the school
• Support the schools aims and values
