Safeguarding

At FCCE we take our responsibility of keeping children safe extremely seriously. Our safeguarding and child protection policy is regularly updated by our Governing Body to ensure it meets statutory requirements.

We have an action plan in place which ensures the Head teacher and safeguarding Governor continually monitor our safeguarding procedures to determine the effectiveness of our policies and protocols.

​

All our staff receive Level 2 Child protection training every 3 years and safeguarding is included in the induction of any new staff member.

​

Pupils are taught how to stay safe online through the computing curriculum and through our annual e safety week. Please come to our annual parent workshop or speak to Mr Knight if you would like to know more about how to keep your child safe online.

If you have any concerns about the safety of a child you should speak to the Designated Safeguarding Lead to the Deputy Safeguarding Lead.
