The Friends is a voluntary organisation whose primary objective is to help advance the education and enjoyment of the pupils in the school. It does this mainly by raising money to help the school to provide facilities which are not provided through statutory funding.

The Friends committee retains membership of the National Confederation of Parent Teacher Associations and holds a charity status (Reg. Charity No. 1007789).

  • Christmas Fayre - Friday 6th December

  • Globe Trot - Saturday 28th March

How we raise money and Financial Accounts

During 2018/2019 we raised a net profit of £20,031.36

We will publicise what each event raises - and how donations are spent during the current scholastic year.

Many thanks to all the parents, carers, family and friends of our school community who support our fundraising efforts.

Purchasing

The following online sites pass on commission on sales through to the Friends of FCCE without it costing you a penny.

  • Name Tags www.nametags4u.co.uk – use this link for all your name tag needs to help raise money for our  school

  • Spend and Raise – www.easyfundraising.org.uk before you make an online purchase you can earn commission for the school without it costing you anything more than a couple of clicks of your mouse! Go direct to the Spend and Raise site to select your chosen retailer and then purchase your item online in the usual way. There is no charge and no need to register.

  • Yellow Moon –org.co.uk – Great value arts crafts toys and gizmos!

  • DealCloud - if you are registering with DealCloud please nominate the 'Friends of FCCE' as the charity of choice.  This means that every deal you buy, DealCloud passes on a percentage of their sales commission with the school.  To choose the Friends Charity, just Register or Sign In and go to My Charities in you Account.  Flease enter 'Fra' in the search box and click nest to our name.  You only need to nominate the charity once. 

 Fundraising

  • Virgin Money Giving:Friends of FCCE are now registered on Virgin Money Giving. Virgin Money Giving allows people to raise funds for more than one charity per event with the fundraiser deciding the split of monies between the charities. We hope that many people will use this facility as it is free of charge and all the major national charities are listed http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com

  • Matched Giving Schemes: please let us know if your employer offers a Matched Giving or other Charity scheme that we may be able to use to increase our funding.
